Max on Life by Max Lucado

Questions about life?  Everyone has them.  Sometimes we are even afraid to ask them.  Max Lucado, in his new book, is definitely not afraid to take on some of these most difficult questions.  He tackles questions in just about every area of life.  With topics that cover everything from "Why am I here?" to "How do I deal with this grief?", Max Lucado gives an insightful easy to understand Christian perspective.  In short, usually page long responses, Max Lucado answers 172 thought provoking questions.  There is a handy topical index included that would give the reader an easy way to locate answers to specific problems.

I enjoyed reading this new book by Max Lucado.  It challenged me to think about some of the hard questions that I have experienced, and helped me get new perspective to the problems facing people around me.  The question and answer format seemed a little strange to begin with and I was concerned about how I would locate a specific question if I wanted to reference it in the future.  The topical index in the back eliminates that concern.   The numbered question and answer format would really work well for a devotional type reading with one question covered a day.

I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.  I would recommend this book to anyone searching for Christian answers to life's questions.  I am thinking this book would make a great gift for the graduates in my life.
